
These monument represents a significant historical moment dawned at the helm of 16th September 1975 under the reign of Founding Father Great Grand Chief Sir Michael T. Somare, it is when PNG have been given Independence from Australia.
Sir Bato Bultin as a first Premier and Governor for Madang Province with his conglomerates have gathered together on this spot and raised the PNG National Flag as a commemoration to the Independence (while the main ceremony took place at Independence hill, Amazing Port Moresby).
These artifacts denotes a sense of respect for natives people of Madang to the transitional phase for Independent State of Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 then, however, seeing Madang Provincial Government demolished this significant monument penned, and unveiled the era that does or would not be able to value the engrave communication or wisdom transcribe through symbols or artifacts such as this Monument removed.
